As of January 13, 2010, succumb to the charms of crooner Michel Comeau as he brings back musical memories of the glorious 50s. Accompanied by four talented musicians, he will delve into the repertoires of torch song greats such as: Anka, Sinatra, Bennett, Presley, Trenet…

Under the musical direction of pianist Pierre Millette, also responsible for the arrangements, Souvenirs des années 50 will feature a warm husky voice that will entrance, move and delight.

That voice has a rich history in this province’s collective subconscious, since Michel Comeau has lent his colourful vocal talents to many Disney films, as well as a number of locally produced commercials and films. An artist to the fullest extent of the word, he has also acted in films, theatre (Don Juan, Jeanne Dark) and television (Nelligan, Providence, Virginie, Les Bougons and Cher Olivier). We are proud to note that Michel appeared in Sous les ponts de Paris, a musical previously featured at the Cabaret du Casino.
